The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes maintenance repairs at 8 different locations on State Routes (SR) 99,152, and 165 in Merced County. The scope of work includes bridge deck resurfacing, removing Asphalt Concrete overlay, removing and patching unsound concrete and spalls on the bridge decks, treating the bridge decks with methacrylate, replacing joint seals, constructing approach slabs, and placing polyester concrete overlay on the bridge deck and approach slabs. See the Continuation sheet for location and scope of work details. All work will occur in Caltrans Right of Way. The purpose of this project is to provide preventative maintenance to deteriorating sections of these bridges.
