The subscription will be for a base period of twelve (12) months, and four (4) optional twleve (12) month periods. This notice is not a solicitation of quotes from contractors, and quotes should not be sent in response to this notice. If a quote is sent, it will not be considered. The commercial internet subscription is needed to support between 200-1000 concurrent users throughout the base dormitory areas, base offices, and dining facilities. The CRTC requires a commercial internet fiber connection be delivered to the Demarcation Point (DEMARC) in the area of the property line which is near the base main entrance. This commercial internet subscription shall be a fixed-rate speed of 10 Gigabits per Second (Gbps). This subscription is required to support member nations, other joint service partners, and other branches of the military while working at the Alpena CRTC. The responsibility for maintenance of the subscription regarding the fiber backbone on the base will be the responsibility of the Alpena CRTC maintenance section. Any maintenance or troubleshooting outside of the base demarcation point will be the responsibility of the contractor. Period of Performance: The Period of Performance shall be one Base Year of 12 months and four 12-month option years.
