Full Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to modify Contract N00024-99-C-5108 to place an order with Raytheon Systems Company- Naval and Maritime Systems, 8680 Balboa Avenue, San Diego, CA 92123-1502, to manufacture and deliver a two (2) Maintenance Assist Modules (MAM's) Cabinets for the Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) MK2 systems developed for LPD-19 and LPD-20 under contract number N00024-99-C-5108. Raytheon Systems Company (N&MS) is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and supplier of the SSDS MK 2 developed and integrated into the CV, CVN, LPD and LHD class ships. As the designer and developer of the SSDS MK 2, is the only source that possesses the necessary technical expertise, engineering drawings and data to provide deliveries in the required timely manner.
