12547 Construction - Hollywood Road Extension

The City of Kelowna is seeking qualified contractors to undertake the construction of the Hollywood Road Extension from Sexsmith Road to John Hindle Drive. The project involves both upgrades to existing sections of Hollywood Road and new construction north of Lougheed Road. Key elements include signalized intersections at Sexsmith Road and Lougheed Road, roundabouts at several intersections including Academy Way/Pinto Road and John Hindle Drive, and various intersection improvements. The scope of work encompasses a wide range of infrastructure enhancements such as paving, curbing, sidewalks, a multi-use path, landscaping, irrigation, and parking lanes. Additionally, significant utility upgrades will be performed, including watermain upgrades with a pressure reducing valve station, drainage system installations, sanitary sewer upgrades, streetlighting, and underground electrical and communication ducting. The project also includes pavement markings and signage to support traffic management.
