The 12600 South Mountain View Corridor Sewer Project, solicitation number 972, is a specialized infrastructure project issued by the Jordan Basin Improvement District in Utah. The scope of work involves the installation of approximately 2,620 linear feet of 30-inch sanitary sewer pipeline and 10 sanitary sewer manholes. A critical component of the project is trenchless construction under the Mountain View Corridor, requiring a 225-foot and an 81-foot guided bore, both utilizing a minimum 42-inch steel casing. Additional requirements include landscaping, roadway restoration, and the installation of Geneva Perfect Manholes. Due to the technical nature of the site, which is characterized by highly collapsible soils and potentially gassy tunnel conditions, bidding is restricted exclusively to contractors prequalified for the Multiple Mountain View Corridor Sewer Projects. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. Bidders must submit a sealed bid including a bid bond, bid schedule, and a notarized sworn statement of information. Performance and payment bonds are required upon award. The project mandates that calculations for initial support thickness be signed and stamped by a Professional Engineer registered in Utah. Substantial completion of the work is required by June 1, 2027, with final completion and readiness for payment by July 1, 2027. Payment is processed monthly via certified applications, with funds becoming due thirty days after presentation to the Owner's Board of Trustees. Quality control is strictly monitored through various ASTM standards, and testing reports must be submitted within 24 hours of completion.
