The NAVICP intends to issue solicitation N00104-09-R-K038 as a 100% small business set-aside for the acquisition of 619,000 each CCU-136A/A Impulse Cartridges. First Article and Production Lot Samples are required in addition to the 619,000 deliverable units. Material will be delivered to the IHDIV Explosives Scales Facility in Indian Head MD and NAVWPNSTA Seal Beach, Fallbrook CA. DFARS clause 252.223-7002, Safety Precautions For Ammunition and Explosives (May 1994) applies. This acquisition contains explosive Naval Ordnance items which require special security, safety, and transportation clauses.
