The contract intends to award a sole source agreement to Raytheon Missile Systems in Tucson, AZ, for the development and delivery of the AGM-65E2 Laser Maverick concept of operations (CONOPS), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), and a prototype unit of the Maverick AGM 65-E2 Laser Guidance Control Sections (GCS) Laser Seeker Sub Assembly (LSA). This sole source award is justified under FAR 6.302-1, indicating that Raytheon is the only responsible source with the necessary data rights and that no other suppliers or services can meet the government's requirements. No solicitation was issued because Raytheon owns critical data rights, and the government does not have an available data package for this product. Although the government encourages prospective subcontractors to engage with the prime contractor, this notice does not constitute a request for competitive quotes, and any decision not to compete this action rests solely with the government. The contract references NAICS code 336414 and is managed by Contracting Officer Merrill L. Stoddard, whose contact details are provided for further inquiries.
