The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Profession Code, Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, approved a Small Mixed-Light Tier 1 commercial cannabis license. The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) is the continuation of existing cultivation activities located in Trinity County on Assessors Parcel Number (APN) 014-360-015-00. The applicant previously held a Provisional Adult Use Small Mixed-Light Cannabis Cultivation License from the California Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) (CCL21-0005517) and is applying for a cannabis cultivation license from the Trinity County Planning Department (CCL-744) to cultivate up to 10,000 square feet (sf) of mature mixed-light canopy. See below for additional project information. The existing cultivation currently includes four (4) 30 x 100 greenhouses (12,000 sqft total) with four (4) 6.25x 91 canopy areas in each; 9,100sqft total for mature plant cultivation and a 30 x 100 (3,000 sqft) for immature plant cultivation. Other structures used to support cultivation include a 49 x 31 (1,519 sqft) barn for agricultural and pesticides storage, processing and harvest storage; a 25 x 34 (850 sqft) cannabis waste composting area; a 11 x 15 (165 sqft) shed for administrative hold; water storage tanks of various sized: two (2) 5,000-gallon and four (4) 1,000-gallon water storage tanks; and a 550-gallon nutrient mixing tank. Water for the operations is provided by a municipal water connection to Trinity County Waterworks; power is supplied from Trinity Public Utilities District; and an onsite septic system would serve as the projects wastewater needs. Future plans to install a 48-kW propane generator to be used in the event of power outages.
