This Notice is published in accordance with RFO FAR 5.201(a).  It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. 



The California Air National Guard, 146th Airlift Wing (146th AW) Channel Islands ANG Station, Port Hueneme has a requirement entitled: 146 LRS Vehicle Corrosion Repair and Paint Services.



146th AW intends to solicit quotes from at least three (3) small business, interested sources in accordance with RFO FAR 12.201 simplified procedures.  Subject to the availability of funds, the Government intends to award one (1) firm-fixed price contract.



The general scope of services requires the Contractor to provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to perform corrosion repair and repainting of five (5) 146th AW Logistics Readiness Squadron vehicles and material handling equipment for the California Air National Guard Station, 146th Airlift Wing Channel Islands, 100 Mulcahey Dr, Port Hueneme, California.  Services must be completed within 120 days of contract award.



The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 811121 Automotive Body, Paint and Interior Repair and Maintenance, with a small business size standard of $9 Million.



This Sources Sought/Presolicitation Notice is not a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB).  This notice is published for this proposed action in accordance with RFO FAR 5.101(a).  The 146 LRS Vehicle Corrosion Repair and Paint Services performance work statement will be detailed in the RFQ when distributed.  Quotes will be due no less than 10 days from the date the solicitation is issued.  The definitive due date and time will be stated in the solicitation and any associated amendments that may be issued.



No CDs or hard copies of the solicitation will be available.  Interested vendors are responsible for checking https://SAM.gov for any update(s) to this Notice.  The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for any vendor’s inability to access any documents posted at the above-mentioned website.



To conduct business with the Department of War, a Contractor must provide registration information to the System for Award Management (SAM).  All offerors must be actively registered at SAM prior to receiving an award.  Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished at https://SAM.gov.
