Full Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at Patuxent River, MD has a SOLE SOURCE requirement to repair, modify or overhaul in order to return to Ready For Issue (RFI) condition the assemblies in the AN/ALQ-144(V)5, Part number 4079075G1, system to the latest preferred or alternate configuration. The government intends to contract on a sole source basis under Request for Quotation N00421-03-T-0103 with BAE Systems Information & Electronics Systems Integration Inc., 95 Canal Street, Room 424L, Nashua, NH 03061-02060. BAE Systems is the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the AN/ALQ-144(V)5. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Procurement will be made via a DPAS DX-1 rated government purchase order, which will incorporate provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2003-01 and DFARS DCN 20030214. The applicable NAICS code is 334419 and the applicable FSC code is J016. Responses to this notice of intent to negotiate with BAE Systems should be submitted no later than 18 March 2003 via email to Ms. Mary Ann Foran at contact@example.gov. Electronic responses shall include company name, single point of contact, telephone number, complete address, and company business size. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. See Numbered Note 22.
