Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. RDECOM - Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, Natick, MA intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to Parallel Quantum Solutions, of Fayetteville, Arkansas for a (1ea) 16-CPU 64-bit Op teron QuantumCube", advanced configuration, with a master node and three slave nodes, with gigabit ethernet throughout, all PQS software and a full range of Linux utilities. The 16 bit comes fully configured/operational and is large enough to run full size simulations. The system will comprise one of our standard units. Approximate dimensions of the unit are: height 28 inches width 17 inches depth 17 inches; weight around 100 lbs. The maximum power usage is about 1500 W under load.
