Full Description

This notice is being publicized in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101 requiring Contracting Officers to disseminate information for proposed contract actions expected to exceed $25,000. Further in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 it is the intent of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to make award to the International Surveillance Technology (IST). The intended order will provide for one installation of equipment provided by IST and previously procured by the DEA. IST designed, built, installed, and has continued to maintain the the equipment utilized in this surveillance platform. Further IST holds all the proprietary rights to the equipment required by the Drug Enforcement Administration for this surveillance platform. As a result International Surveillance Technology is the only responsible source to provide the necessary upgraded equipment and installation services to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
