Full Description

The proposed effort is for up to 23 Digital Captive Boresight and Harmonization Kits (DCBHK) and options up to five conversions of -603 CBHK to DCBHK, up to 15 Helicopter Air Data Systems (HADS) and Sight Survey Unit (SSU) adapters combined called a Boresight Supplemental Adapter Kit (BSAK) and up to seven Embedded Global Inertial (EGI) alignment kits. This special tool and adapters/kits are required to perform various routine maintenance actions on the Apache helicopter. The authority permitting ot her than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, entitled Only one responsible source or only a limited number of responsible sources and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements . The proposed acquisition is limited to DRS Data and Imaging Systems, Inc. 138 Bauer Drive, Oakland, NJ 07436. All interested parties should identify themselves in writing to the Contracting Officer. All responsbile sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by this agency. See Note 22
