16 -- ENGINEERING SERVICES

This will be a Task Order against an Engineering Services BOA with IBS. The contractor shall investigate and correct deficiencies discovered in the Guided Missile Launcher Test Set (GMLTS) software. The contractor shall attend Change Request Review meetings with the government to determine which changes requests to include in the next release of the GM-LTS Software. This is a sole source requirement to Integral Business Solution (IBS) cage code: 1WRJ1. Period of Performance is 18 months ARO. No telephone requests will be accepted. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor is acceptable. The responsible source solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation that will be considered. Authority: 10 U.S.C 2304(C)(1). Justification: The services required are available from only one, or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for updates for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement at a later date. Security clearances will be required for all bidders or Offers.
