This contract, issued by the Department of Defense via Navsup Weapon Systems Support, is for the procurement of 22 electrical harnesses under NSN 7R-5999-016106825-V2 and reference number 4506365A. The delivery terms are specified as FOB Origin. Due to the flight critical nature of the components and the specialized technical data and manufacturing knowledge required, this acquisition is restricted to sources that have received engineering source approval from the design control activity. Because the approved sources retain essential data rights not economically available to the government, the solicitation is limited to previously approved vendors to ensure part quality and avoid award delays. Any prospective bidder not currently approved must submit comprehensive documentation as outlined in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochures. Failure to provide the required technical data or proof of a pending approval request will result in the proposal being excluded from consideration.
