Promega Assay Reagents to Support Complement-ARIE Mechanistic Toxicology Research
Solicitation # 75N98026Q01226
This solicitation, numbered 75N98026Q01226, is a Request for Quotation for the procurement of specialized Promega assay reagents to support Complement-ARIE mechanistic toxicology research. The research is conducted by the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) through the Mechanistic Toxicology Branch. These reagents are essential for assessing critical toxicological endpoints, including cell viability, liver injury, liver function, oxidative stress, antioxidant responses, and cellular bioenergetics within human three-dimensional microphysiological systems. The acquisition is being conducted under FAR Part 12 for commercial products using simplified procedures. The government intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order on a sole-source basis to Promega Corporation, as they are the only identified manufacturer capable of providing the specific combination of luminescence and chemiluminescence-based detection technologies required to maintain the consistency, comparability, and reproducibility of the established experimental methodology. While the government intends to award to Promega, all responsible sources may submit quotations that demonstrate the ability to satisfy the complete technical requirements. Required supplies, which include various CellTiter-Glo, LDH-Glo, and ROS-Glo assays, must be delivered to the NIEHS laboratory in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, by September 25, 2026. Acceptance is contingent upon the successful delivery and functional performance of the assays within the NIEHS laboratory environment.
