Requirement: As FY24 Phase I, a site survey and Proposal to execute the project as a Phase II. Proposal should include total cost of PM, design, BOM, procurement/acquisition of material, labor, logistical, installation and close out. This task has been approved and funded to proceed Description: Disconnection of existing generator and removal. Installation of new generator, performing start up on new generator while testing for proper operations. Remove and replace the existing Emergency Backup Generator, Automatic Transfer Switch associated equipment (such as the fuel tank) and modernize existing UPS system (which is an EATON system) through the replacement of its batteries which are at end of life. The existing unit's age (end of service life) and increasing maintenance needs necessitate replacement. Replacement unit must meet all of life. The current average power usage for the Bodie Island Tower building is unknown. Therefore, a power load consumption analysis will have to be perform to properly size back up generator and UPS.
