The current truck off load facility, CI-282, shares the JP-5 line with the secondary truck loading facility, CI-251. This causes contamination of the fuel issue line to the truck loading stand. This project is to install a new 4 inch receipt fuel line from CI-282 to the main JP-5 return line along Ocean Road. The new line will be 4 inch diameter with the necessary isolation valves, thermal relief valves, low point drains, and high point vents. The new line will be approximately 460 feet long. The pipe supports will be guide slides mounted on concrete spread footings. Pipe installation, testing, and coating shall be IAW the UFGS for above ground fuel piping. The new line will allow off specification fuel to be separated from the supply line to the secondary truck loading facility. The current situation can cause contamination of the fuel issue line to the truck stand. Design and construction in FY-24. This will eliminate the possible cross contamination of off specification fuel with ready to issue fuel at the secondary truck loading stand. If the new line is not installed the use of the loading stand will be impacted until off specification fuel is removed from the line serving the truck rack.
