U.S. Coast Guard, Maintenance and Logistics Command Atlantic, intends to issue a sole source purchase order with Hubbell Electric Heater Co. for a Hubbell Hot Water Heater Model MSH120-0-24CNT4, With Insulation Blanket, 120 Gallon, 24KW, 480V, 3PH, 60HZ for the USCGC PENOBSCOTT BAY. Hubbell Electric Heater Co. is the only known company that manufactures this hot water heater to specifications required by the U.S. Coast Guard. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete as a result of quotes received is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement
