The U.S. Department of Agriculture, via the USDA Forest Service’s CSA Intermountain 4 office, awarded a firm-fixed-price contract to The Trailer Shop LLC for two enclosed, off-road capable cargo trailers designated for transporting sensitive Unmanned Aircraft Systems equipment during wildland fire response operations. The award, issued under solicitation number 1240LP26P0062, was made using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation method and is a total small business set-aside under FAR 19.5, restricting participation to small businesses including HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, and Women-Owned entities.
