Solicitation # N6833527R1000
Solicitation N6833527R1000 is a total small business set-aside for comprehensive mechanical and electrical engineering and technical services to support the Support Equipment Department at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, New Jersey. The scope of work includes the design, development, acquisition, evaluation, sustainment, and logistics of support equipment and aircraft launch and recovery equipment across organizational, intermediate, and depot-level maintenance environments. The contract is structured with a five-year period of performance, consisting of one base year and four option years, with a maximum duration of five years and six months. The government will award one task order based on a best-value tradeoff analysis, where technical and past performance factors are significantly more important than cost. Technical evaluation focuses on the understanding of the work and key personnel resumes, the latter of which is a pass/fail requirement that can render a proposal unawardable.
