200 Block Union Street CDBG Improvements Sealed bids for sidewalk and curb replacement, ADA improvements, and mill and overlay of street with fabric will be received online via the PennBid Program (www.PennBid.net) by Columbia Borough, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, until 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 2, 2024. The bids will be publicly opened and read electronically, via PennBid’s website, at 10:00 AM (prevailing time), same date. Copies of Bidding Documents for the 200 Block Union Street CDBG Improvements project are available online and at no cost at www.PennBid.net. NOTE: The Council of Columbia Borough have authorized C.S. Davidson, Inc., to act on their behalf by opening bids. Contracts will be awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of Columbia Borough. A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Columbia Borough in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid. Each bidder must be prepared to submit evidence of his qualifications to perform the work. Notice is hereby given to bidders that construction of this project is being funded, in part, by a federal grant provided to Lancaster County from the U.S. Dept of Housing and Urban Development and is subject to the Davis Bacon Act of March 3, 1931, as amended.
