Full Description

The Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Procurement Center, located at 3901 Adams Avenue, Fort Lee, Virginia, intends to award a sole source extension modification to Carahsoft Technology Corporation. DCMA-IT requires uninterrupted software maintenance and support for Jama Contour software, which is required for use in the DCMA production environment for the development of the Integrated Workload Management System (IWMS) upgrades. Jama Contour aids in the building of highly complex products by allowing coverage and tracking relationships between requirements, use cases, test cases, defects and other related items to demonstrate compliance and assure quality. DCMA currently owns and manages Jama Contour software. Jama software products are proprietary and require Jama brand name maintenance to support the product. Jama does not authorize any other resellers or contractors to maintain their products. This is a sole source notice published for informational purposes only. The Government intends to extgend the current contract S5121A-12-C-0010 under the authority of FAR Clause 52.217-8. A justification to not compete this acquisition has been properly executed and included with this notice. The justification addresses the requirements of FAR 5.207(c)(15), reason for lack of competition.
