The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is pleased to announce Industry Day to be held at the base in the Maritime Technology Information Center (MTIC) Building on 1 May 2017 from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. Registration and admittance to NSWC will begin at 7:30 a.m. Participation is limited, and participants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis based on when security clearance information is received. . Attendance is limited to two representatives per organization. All of the forum presentations will be available on the NSWC Carderock Division website under the Business Partnership section after the event. Carderock Division is the U.S. Navy's state-of-the-art research, engineering, modeling and test center for ships and ship systems. It is the largest, most comprehensive establishment of its kind in the world, serving a dual role in support of both our U.S. naval forces and the maritime industry. Navy and maritime communities have come to depend on our expertise and innovative spirit in developing advanced platforms and systems, enhancing naval performance, reducing operating costs and addressing the Navy's evolving mission. Please note that the government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their travel or participation in this event. Parking on the Navy Base is provided. Tickets are not transferrable and will be required at the gate in order to gain access to the installation and attend the event. Security packages must be received by 21 April 2017 If you do not already have a current CAC, Rapid Gate Card, Retired Military ID or Personal Identity Verification (PIV) you will need to fill out SECNAV Form 5512-1submit it via the AMRDEC site. Instructions are provided on the registration website. Registration is required through the following website for all attendees.
