AI Contract Overview
The General Services Administration (GSA) is conducting the 2026 Fall Open Season under Solicitation 47QMC22R0014 for the 2023 Light Duty Vocational Trucks Program. This process invites current contractors to submit Next Model Year (NMY) information for previously awarded line items and allows both existing and new contractors to propose new vehicle models that meet federal standards as outlined on GSAFleet.gov. A virtual Industry Day is scheduled for May 19, 2026, to discuss the Open Season procedures, providing stakeholders with important guidance on participation. The Open Season includes multiple rounds of submissions starting in June and extending through October 2026, with ordering opening on GSAFleet.gov in December 2026. Key milestone dates include the vendor pre-bid intention and comment periods from May 4 to June 5, 2026, followed by three Open Season rounds spread across summer and fall. The program requires vehicle suppliers to have accounts created by GSA on GSAFleet.gov, after which they can manage their user roles independently. Points of contact are George Anderson and Angela Romano from the GSA Automotive Center, based in Washington, DC. The solicitation also specifies the NAICS code 336110, reflecting the program’s focus on motor vehicle manufacturing. The entire process is designed to ensure compliance with federal procurement standards and to streamline access to new model vocational trucks for government fleets.
