2025 Urban Water Management Plan and Water Shortage Contingency Plan

The Padre Dam Municipal Water District is initiating the development of the 2025 Urban Water Management Plan and the Water Shortage Contingency Plan. The Urban Water Management Plan serves as a comprehensive water supply planning document, while the Water Shortage Contingency Plan establishes the specific policies and procedures required to manage water shortages. These initiatives are designed to benefit the district's water service customers across a service area that includes the City of Santee and portions of the City of El Cajon and San Diego County. This project is classified as a forecast under NAICS code 541620. It is statutorily exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act under California Water Code section 10652, meaning no further environmental assessments are required for the preparation and adoption of these plans.
