2025 Water System Improvements

CALL FOR BIDSMUKILTEO WATER AND WASTEWATER DISTRICT2025 WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTSENGINEER’S ESTIMATE $1,636,000Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the Mukilteo Water and Wastewater District, 7824 Mukilteo Speedway, Mukilteo, Washington 98275, up to 10:00 a.m.; local time on Thursday, February 27, 2025, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct the 2025 Water System Improvements.The project consists of the installation of approximately 3,000 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main for the replacement of the existing 6-inch cast iron water main on 92nd Street West, 61st Avenue West, 62nd Place West, and 63rd Place West as shown on the Plans and as described in the Specifications.  The project also includes installation of new water services, hydrants, valves, blowoff assembly, connections to existing water system, hot mix asphalt trench patch, and general restoration.  The project also provides for roadway improvements consisting of a full width 2-inch grind and hot mix asphalt overlay and pavement markings.The Work shall be substantially complete within 60 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed.  All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the District Manager, District Office, Mukilteo, Washington.The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above.  Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents.   All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the “Mukilteo Water and Wastewater District” and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount.Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and clicking on Posted Projects, Public Works, and Mukilteo Water and Wastewater District.
