2026 LiDAR Data Collection

Johnson County, Kansas is soliciting proposals for the collection and processing of high-resolution LiDAR topographic data aligned with the USGS LiDAR Base Specification, Version 2025, Revision A, to support FEMA Risk MAP Program initiatives as well as county-wide planning, engineering, and emergency management functions. The evaluation process is based on a best-value trade-off approach, allocating points across five key factors: Project Approach (35 points), Firm Personnel (25 points), Quality of Similar Work (20 points), Overall Responsiveness to the RFP (10 points), and Applicable Resources (10 points), with adjectival ratings applied to each and cost used as a tiebreaker among technically acceptable offers.
