The City of Norco is seeking a comprehensive update to its 2050 General Plan to ensure compliance with State Planning and Zoning Law. The update will establish goals, policies, and implementation actions derived from community outreach to align the city's growth with its long-term vision and priorities. The primary objective of the plan is to preserve Norco's unique rural, equestrian-oriented atmosphere and residential agricultural neighborhoods while supporting local businesses and creating a more prominent downtown area. Additionally, the project aims to enhance public facilities, parks, and open spaces, improve transportation and public safety, and solidify the city's status as a destination for agricultural and recreational experiences.
