The Work comprises application of weed killer to all pavement cracks or joints; cleaning, routing, and installation of crack-sealant or asphalt pavement in all pavement cracks or joints 1/8” or wider; construction of approximately 1,459 Tons of Rubber Polymer Modified Slurry (RPMS) over 1,945,098 square feet of asphalt surface; removal and replacement of existing traffic striping and markings; and all appurtenant work on various streets throughout the City of Palm Springs. The work shall be diligently prosecuted to completion before the expiration of 40 working days.
All Items to be submitted electronically. There is nothing to bring to City Hall by the deadline. Bid Opening is done 100% electronically. Contract will go to City Council for Award on August 26, 2026. Submittals due within 7 working days of contract approval.
Pursuant to the City’s Community Workforce Agreement, the requirements of the PLA shall apply only to construction contracts with an awarded contract amount of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) or greater. In the event the Contract is awarded for less than One Million Dollars ($1,000,000), the PLA requirements set forth shall not apply.
