The Town of Smithers is inviting tenders from qualified traffic marking contractors for Traffic Marking Contract #2026-01. This Contract consists of supplying the labour, materials, and equipment to perform roadway and parking lot traffic marking within the Town of Smithers, including groundside markings at the Smithers Regional Airport. The general scope includes approximately 44km of paved roads, 3km of parking division lines, and other associated markings. The Substantial Completion date is June 30th, 2026.Tenders will be received by the Town of Smithers until 2:00 P.M., February 12, 2026, and must be accompanied by tender security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total tender price, payable to the Town of Smithers. Mail, courier, or hand deliver completed documents to the General Manager of Integrated Growth and Development in an opaque, sealed envelope marked TENDER - Traffic Marking Contract #2026-01. Tenders will be publicly opened at the above stated time at the Smithers Municipal Office. The Town of Smithers reserves the right to waive informalities in or reject any or all Tenders or to accept the tender deemed most favorable in the interest of the Town. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted; award is subject to the Town’s Purchasing Policy.
