D2. SCOPE OF WORK D2.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of installation of water mains on Somerville Avenue, Beaumont Street, Lemay Avenue, Lord Avenue, and Weatherdon Avenue all within the City of Winnipeg. D2.2 The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Installation of approximately 920m of 150mm - 300mm diameter PVC water main pipe by trenchless methods; (b) Abandonment of existing water mains as required; (c) Removal/abandonment of existing hydrant assemblies and gate valves as required; (d) Installation of valves and hydrant assemblies; (e) Reconnection or renewal of water service connections; and (f) Restoration of pavement and boulevard areas.
