2027 FCPL Landscape

The Forsyth County Public Library is soliciting competitive bids for comprehensive landscape maintenance services for five branch locations and its administrative offices in Georgia. The contract period is set to run from February 1, 2027, through January 31, 2028, with the possibility of two additional one-year renewals. The scope of work includes lawn mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, debris removal, and the maintenance of colored pine bark mulch. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for quarterly detention pond trimming, tree care, and the replacement of any plants or sod lost due to negligence. Bids are due by 2:00 P.M. on October 22, 2026, and must be submitted in triplicate in a sealed container clearly marked with the bidder's name, bid title, and closing date. A mandatory pre-bid meeting for each location is required for consideration. The award will be granted to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder who meets all specifications and agrees to the contract terms. Requirements for the successful bidder include providing payment and performance bonds, a certificate of insurance naming the library as an additional insured, and a sworn affidavit of E-Verify compliance. Payment is issued on a Net 30 basis following the inspection and acceptance of services.
