2027 Traffic Control Services

The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) is soliciting bids for traffic control services for the period of January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027. The contractor will provide as-needed support for various job sites throughout Ada County, specifically supporting Adams and Cloverdale Maintenance for activities such as paving, shouldering, and chip and fog sealing. Key requirements include the provision of certified flaggers and supervisors trained by the Idaho Technology Transfer Center and holding current ATSSA certification, as well as trucks equipped with signage meeting MUTCD Section 6H-13 standards. All services and equipment must comply with the Manual for Uniform Traffic Control Devices. The contract will be awarded to the qualified bidder offering the lowest price, provided they meet all technical specifications and bidding procedures. Bidders must submit their responses via the ACHD eProcurement Portal by October 28, 2026, at 3:00 pm, and must provide proof of licensure to be considered responsive. Successful bidders may be required to furnish performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the total contract value. Payment is set at net 30 days upon submission of detailed invoices to the designated email address. The agreement also includes a public agency clause extending priced services to other eligible Idaho public agencies and requires contractors to maintain specific insurance and adhere to mandatory daily safety talks.
