AI Contract Overview
McConnell Air Force Base is soliciting proposals to establish Blanket Purchase Agreements for commercial off-base lodging services over a five-year period. The government aims to secure agreements with at least four hotels located within close proximity to the base to support transient personnel, particularly focusing on accommodating Air National Guard members during their drill weekends, annual training, and surge operations. Vendors must be capable of managing short-notice unit room blocks and offer flexible cancellation policies to accommodate the unpredictable nature of military scheduling. This solicitation requires vendors to submit their best technical and pricing offers upfront, as the evaluation and award process may proceed without further discussions, though the government reserves the right to conduct discussions if necessary. The solicitation, identified by the number FA462126Q00023, was posted on May 15, 2026, with a deadline for questions on May 18, 2026, and quote submissions due by May 21, 2026. The point of contact includes SrA Natalee Dykes and SSgt Leroy Beeman at McConnell AFB, Kansas. The award will be a firm-fixed-price Blanket Purchase Agreement under NAICS code 721110, which covers hotel and motel accommodations. Full Description
McConnell Air Force Base has a recurring requirement to establish Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for commercial off-base lodging services for a period of five years. The government's objective is to establish a minimum of four (4) hotels on the BPA to support transient personnel, with a critical emphasis on accommodating Air National Guard members during drill weekends, annual training, and surge operations. To ensure mission readiness and minimize logistical friction, prospective vendors must be located within a convenient radius of the installation and demonstrate the capacity to handle short-notice "unit room blocks" with flexible cancellation policies inherent to dynamic military scheduling.
Questions are due 18 May 2026 at 1200 PM CT. Quotes are due on 21 May 2026 at 1200 PM CT.
