The Department of Veterans Affairs, through the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System in New Orleans, Louisiana, is conducting market research under FAR Part 10 to identify potential sources capable of providing two Polaris Ranger 1000 Premium Utility Terrain Vehicles (UTVs) or approved equal models for operational use. This notice, identified by solicitation number 36C25626Q0996 and NAICS code 336999, is strictly for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation, request for quotes, or binding procurement action. Interested contractors are required to submit a response by July 17, 2026, at 3:00 PM CT via email to Kimberly Anderson at Kimberly.Anderson6@va.gov, including company name, Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), business size classification, capability statement, detailed product description, relevant past performance, estimated lead time, rough order of magnitude pricing, and country of origin to assess compliance with the Buy American Act. All respondents must be active and verified in SAM.gov, and proposals must demonstrate technical equivalency if offering non-Polaris vehicles. Deliverables, if a procurement progresses, would involve full delivery, installation, commissioning, operator training, and warranty documentation at the SLVHCS facility in New Orleans, with acceptance to occur on-site. No contract clauses, special requirements, payment details, inspection criteria, or evaluation factors are defined at this stage, as the government is gathering vendor input to inform future acquisition decisions without establishing a formal award process.
