The selected vendor will operate a staffed waste drop-off facility physically located within Boone County, Kentucky, to accept debris, bulk items, and garbage from citizens using County-issued vouchers. The initial contract term runs from January 1, 2027, through June 30, 2027, with the possibility of three additional one-year renewals upon mutual agreement. The program excludes liquid waste, hazardous waste, and paint, while mattresses and tires are restricted and may only be accepted if the vendor charges the citizen for additional expenses.
