The California Department of General Services, Facilities Management Division, is soliciting bids for statewide lift certification, maintenance, and repair services on state property. The scope of work includes preventative maintenance, inspection, testing, and annual lift certifications across three regional areas: High North and Northern, Bay and Central, and LA Metro, LA East and Southern. The anticipated contract term is 36 months with fixed rates, and up to three contracts may be awarded. Award will be granted to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with a 5 percent preference for certified Small Businesses and incentives for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises, who must meet a 3 percent participation goal. Contractors must maintain Automotive Lift Institute Lift Inspector Certification and Cal/OSHA compliant operator training certification. All annual safety inspections must comply with ANSI specifications 92.6 and 92.7. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, equipment, and incidental materials, such as grease and safety supplies. Invoicing must be submitted monthly in arrears, with each building location invoiced separately. Bids are due by September 8, 2026, and must include a completed cost sheet and a certificate of insurance within ten working days of the award. Work is to be performed during normal business hours, and all services are subject to a one-year warranty from the date of acceptance.
