The purpose of the data exchange day is to exchange data and ideas between the service capability developer action officers and industry; as we continue to develop our joint operational requirements documents. The goal is to provide industry our vision on how the services plan to utilize automated capabilities in convoy operations; as well as, allow industry to see the current draft operational requirements being developed. Our intent is to provide a forum for frank and open discussions among government capability and industry materiel developers action officers on how to best synchronize our operational requirement efforts. This discussion is intended for developers and integrators of total system solutions, there will be opportunities in the future for potential subcontractors to participate. The outcome of this meeting is to provide DoD senior leaders a status on the art of-the-possible when it comes to meeting the services automated convoy capabilities sought. This website is to collect information and to provide information to industry regarding Automated Convoy Operations (ACO). The release of any draft requirements for ACO is for informational and planning purposes only.
