NOTICE OF INTENT NUMBER: W91ZLK-13-T-0179 This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13. The Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground, Tennant Division, 6001 Combat Drive, Aberdeen Proving Ground, (APG), MD 21005 has a requirement to procure the following items: CLIN 0001: Quantity: Five (5) each; four-inch suspension lift kits which are utilized for on-going High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) Suspension Improvement Kit Testing. CLIN 0002: Quantity: One (1) each; Shipping: The vendor shall be responsible for delivering the required equipment listed above to the ATC Receiving Warehouse. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) sole source order/contract to Granite Tactical Vehicles, Incorporated (Cage Code: 4K1F8). Granite Tactical Vehicles, Inc. is the sole manufacturer and distributor of these required types of four-inch suspension kits are the only suspension kits which fit into the existing Government owned High Mobility Multipurpose wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV). No other vendor's produce four-inch suspension kits which will fit into the Government owned HMMWV's. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 336992 and the Business Size Standard is 1,000 Employees. This is NOT a request for quote for vendors to respond. This is a written Notice to inform the public of the Government's intent to negotiate solely with Granite Tactical Vehicles, Incorporated for the required equipment listed above. All responses received within ten (10) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. This Notice of Intent was posted on 04 June 2013. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), Thursday, June 13th, 2013.
