Marion County is seeking to establish contracts with at least two prequalified suppliers for the procurement of brass, PVC parts, and supplies. The selection process involves a Request for Qualification (RFQ), through which suppliers must submit comprehensive information to be considered. Once qualified, the county’s Utilities and Procurement departments will solicit bids from these suppliers for future large-volume orders, with the goal of awarding contracts to the lowest responsive bidder among the prequalified firms. The contract aims to secure a supply of these materials over a period, with estimated contract values ranging from $500,000 to $2,000,000. Suppliers are responsible for providing all necessary information as specified in the RFQ, and failure to do so may result in disqualification or a non-responsive score. The solicitation, titled "25Q-042 Combined Brass, PVC Parts & Supplies," was posted on November 22, 2024, with a response deadline of December 19, 2024. The contract is part of a procurement effort under NAICS code 444140, which pertains to hardware stores and related retail outlets. The project is located in Florida, and the procurement process is managed by Marion County, Oregon. Interested suppliers can access additional details through the provided DemandStar link. The overall goal is to establish a reliable supply chain for these materials through competitive bidding among qualified vendors over the contract period.
