ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS   Sealed Bids for the construction of the State Road 85 at Garden Street Intersection Improvements will be received by the Crestview City Council at city hall located at 198 N. Wilson Street, Crestview, FL, until 2:00 PM local time on August 6, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be “publicly” opened and read.  This project consists of the construction of a northbound right turn lane, a southbound left turn lane, and a connection to Industrial Drive.  Reconstruction of the existing signal features and incidental construction including drainage, utility adjustments, signing & marking, and fiber optic interconnect are included.  An FDOT Access Permit has been obtained for the proposed work and the contractor shall comply with all provisions of the permit.  A Non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held July 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM local time, Crestview City Hall, Council Chambers, 198 N. Wilson St., Crestview, FL 32536.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract.  Bids shall be on a lump sum basis and awarded based on the lump sum of the unit prices. The contractor must be FDOT pre-qualified in the following work classes for the bid to be accepted:
