27-058 Construction Management at Risk Services, German Gerena Community School �¢���� Prequal

The City of Springfield is soliciting Construction Management at Risk services for the development of the German Gerena Community School, located at 495 Chestnut St, Springfield, MA. The project involves the construction of a new three-story building encompassing approximately 124,000 square feet on a currently vacant site. With an estimated construction cost of 114 million dollars and a projected duration of 26 months, work is expected to commence in spring or summer 2028, with occupancy targeted for summer 2030. The selected Construction Manager at Risk will provide comprehensive pre-construction and construction phase services, working collaboratively with the City of Springfield, Skanska USA Building, DiNisco Design, and the MSBA.
