The purpose of the attached amendment to Solicitation SPRTA1-11-R-0183is to change the following: FIRST: Change contract type from an Indefinite Delivery/IndefiniteQuantity (IDIQ) contract to a Firm Fixed Price contract and Section BPreamble Note as follows: FROM: This solicitation contemplates award of an IndefiniteDelivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract (see Clauses at 52.216-18,"Ordering," 52.216.19, "Order Limitations" and 52.216-22, "IndefiniteQuantity"). The Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) for this solicitation reflects theestimated requirement for a 3 year (36 month) period. Any resultantcontract shall be in effect from the effective date of the contractthrough a 3-year (36 month) period or until the maximum quantity isexhausted, whichever comes first. Evaluation for award will be made based only on the proposed pricesubmitted for the Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ).
