This export controlled procurement is a competitive firm fixed price contract for the manufacture of augmentor nozzles applicable to F100/200/220E engines. The requirement consists of three line items: the delivery of 45 augmentor nozzles by November 30, 2009, the provision of first article data, and the delivery of three contractor first articles. The procurement is intended for foreign military sales countries and is being conducted as a full and open requirement, although the government noted that only a limited number of responsible sources may be able to satisfy the agency requirements. The solicitation process began in March 2009 with an anticipated award date of May 8, 2009. Current qualified sources include Unison Engine Components, Soldream Inc., and United Technologies. The government is not utilizing commercial item acquisition policies for this effort, and specifications or drawings are not available for furnishing.
