This solicitation, issued by the Navsup Weapon Systems Support Mech, seeks firm-fixed-price quotations for the teardown, evaluation, repair, and modification of Motor Operator, CB units. The scope of work includes all costs associated with the receipt and complete repair of materials, regardless of their condition, including those with missing hardware or wear damage. While the US Navy covers all transportation to and from the repair site, distributors are specifically required to send items to the original equipment manufacturer, Eaton, for repair. The contract emphasizes strict adherence to the required Repair Turnaround Time (RTAT), with a price reduction penalty of 3 percent per unit for any assets that fail to meet this timeline. Quality assurance is governed by original manufacturer specifications and drawings, with physical identification required per MIL-STD-130 and packaging according to MIL-STD-2073. Following an amendment, the offer due date was extended to June 30, 2023, and the delivery requirement was modified from 80 days to 40 days.
