This is a solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.


Solicitation Number N0040626Q0261 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Governor Diesel Engine.


This acquisition is being conducted on a Brand Name basis. The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of the referenced FAR clauses and provisions may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.


The applicable NAICS Code is 336310 with a size standard of 1,050 employees. This procurement is being issued on an Unrestricted basis.


This acquisition will be negotiated on a Brand Name basis with ISOTTA FRASCHINI MOTORI SPA  pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, utilizing FAR Part 12, Commercial Products and Commercial Services, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.


The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) supply contract.
