3 Yr. Labor Contract for Fire Alarms Systems - General Servi

The Jefferson Parish Department of General Services is seeking a contractor for a three-year, as-needed labor contract to troubleshoot and repair fire alarm, fire sprinkler, fire pump, fire stand pipe, fire suppression, fire pre-action, and burglar alarm systems parish-wide. The selected contractor must be an authorized dealer licensed to service Edwards (EST) fire alarm systems and hold licenses from the Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s Office for Life Safety and Property Protection. All technical work must be performed by a lead technician, and the contractor is required to provide a minimum thirty-day warranty on labor and full manufacturer warranties on all parts. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Key performance requirements include strict response times of two hours for emergency calls and four hours for non-emergency calls following the receipt of a reference number. To ensure payment, technicians must obtain a reference number prior to starting work and sign in and out using an owner-provided logbook. Bidders must submit a notarized bid affidavit, evidence of authority to bind their legal entity, and proof of insurance compliance with Parish Resolutions 136353 or 141125. Final insurance certificates must be provided within ten calendar days of the bid opening.
