The Air Force has issued a source approval notification under FAR 9.2 for the manufacture of specific bearing sleeves identified by National Stock Numbers (NSNs) and Part Numbers (PNs), specifically NSN 3120-01-221-1130 with PNs 4065637, 4065636, and 4065635. This notice establishes Qualification Requirements (QRs) that companies must meet to be considered approved sources for these items. It is important to note that this announcement does not indicate an imminent purchase or the availability of drawings and specifications. Interested parties seeking the QRs must submit a written request directly to the Small Business Office at Tinker Air Force Base; faxed or telephone requests are not accepted. This is strictly a sources sought notice and not a request for proposal, so there is no solicitation or response deadline.
