319-26 Small Uncrewed Aircraft Systems, Docks and Parts

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is initiating a contract to procure a variety of parts, components, docks, and applications necessary for small uncrewed aircraft systems (sUAS), ground robotic assistants, unmanned surface vessels, and related services. The purpose is to enhance Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) capabilities within the state. The contract encompasses supplying key products, including docks that serve as landing and charging stations for drones, as well as the integration, testing, maintenance, and training associated with Drone in a Box (DIB) solutions. Onsite support will address preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of deployed DIB systems. Training sessions are included for up to ten personnel to ensure effective operation and maintenance of these systems. All products and services must be delivered within thirty days from the issuance of a valid State of Ohio purchase order, and deliveries are expected to be made to any of ODOT’s twelve districts and eighty-eight counties. The contract has a duration of twelve months from the date of award. To participate, bidders are required to register as a State of Ohio Supplier with the Department of Ohio Shared Services and secure an OAKS vendor identification number within fourteen days of the award. Additionally, bidders need to submit detailed product or service literature as part of their response. The contract is valued between $5 million and $15 million, underscoring its significance and reach across Ohio’s transportation infrastructure.
